To 2020 (2020)
This was my very first piece created in Procreate, a jumping-off point into the world of digital drawing after getting my iPad Pro. Having never worked in this medium before, I felt overwhelmed by the tools and interface, so I decided to approach it with total freedom: no plan, no pressure, just pure exploration.

The result is a surrealist, collage-like illustration: an ice cream cone breaking apart, a shark’s exposed innards, a mushroom with an eye, and a lizard cut off mid-frame. The composition doesn’t follow conventional logic, and that’s exactly what made it fun. It was less about creating a finished work and more about learning how to layer, build texture, and use brushes to construct strange, flowing forms.
