This piece became an exercise in complexity and world-building. I wanted every part of the scene to offer something to discover, from water droplets and weathered wood to the different foods, figures, boats, and oversized koi.
It also pushed me to study how very different materials, lighting, and scales could coexist within a single composition. The density was intentional, but it taught me how difficult it is to balance visual chaos with hierarchy and cohesion. it’s in the details became an important step toward creating larger, more narrative-driven digital work rather than treating each drawing as an isolated subject.
