The result is a surreal, collage-like composition featuring an ice cream cone breaking apart, a shark with exposed innards, a mushroom with an eye, and a lizard disappearing beyond the frame. There was no real logic connecting the objects, and that was part of the fun.
Rather than trying to create a polished final work, I used To 2020 to learn how Procreate worked: experimenting with layers, textures, brushes, and the ways digital tools could construct and manipulate form. Looking back, I like that my first digital piece was essentially just me figuring things out as I went.
